Welcome to our Scouting Pages for Clinton Troops 1142 and 7142, along with Cub Scout Pack 4142! Scouting has been active in Clinton for decades, with the boys' troop tracing its origins back to the 1940s. The girls' troop is the newest unit, making sure girls in Clinton have the same opportunities for Scouting as boys have had for years. If you want more information on each unit or how to contact us to join, you will find this and more on this website. Thank you for visiting!
Clinton Cub Scout Pack 4142
Cub Scouts have been a part of the Clinton area community for decades, providing youth from kindergarten up thru 5th grade the chance to have adventures, learn new things and improve skills. We’re all about encouraging boys and girls to make friends, be helpful to others, and do their very best no matter the outcome. With the help of powerful learning projects and exciting outdoor activities, we aim to teach children that doing their best can be a fun and rewarding experience—no matter the difficulty of the challenge.
There are four aims of Scouting: citizenship, character, personal fitness, and leadership. The methods of Cub Scouting are: living the ideals, belonging to a den, advancement, family involvement, activities, serving the community, and the uniform.Scouting helps youth develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives. Try new things. Provide service to others. Build self-confidence
